What services does AOU Studio offer?
AOU Studio offers professional photography, studio hire and post-production services in Nottinghamshire. Book a photoshoot with our photographers, hire a space for your own creative team, or get support with photo and video editing. Our spaces support photography, filming, content creation and podcast recording.
Where are AOU Studio’s locations?
AOU Studio has three locations across Nottinghamshire: Mapperley, Hucknall and Eastwood. Mapperley is home to our photography studio; Hucknall offers content studios, podcast and blackout spaces; and Eastwood has a dedicated podcast studio. How do I book a photoshoot or hire a studio?
Book a photoshoot or studio hire through AOU Studio’s online booking hub. Choose your photography service or studio, select a date and time from live availability, add any extras and pay securely online. You’ll receive your booking confirmation once your booking is complete.
Can I hire a studio and bring my own photographer or production crew?
Yes. AOU Studio’s hire spaces welcome independent photographers, videographers, podcasters, content creators and production crews. You can bring your own team and use the space for your booking. If you need a photographer, choose one of our photography services instead.
What equipment is included with studio hire?
Equipment varies by studio and booking package. Our Mapperley photography studio includes paper backdrops, flash lighting, continuous lighting and C-stands. Microphones, cameras and lighting are available for podcast bookings, with inclusions depending on your chosen package. Check the individual studio page and booking extras to confirm what’s included before you book.
Can I book a studio early in the morning or late at night?
Yes. AOU Studio offers 24/7 studio access for booked sessions, including early mornings and late nights. Check the online booking hub for available dates and times at your chosen studio. Access is arranged as part of your booking.
Does AOU Studio offer photography on location?
Yes. AOU Studio offers on-location photography as well as studio photoshoots. Family, maternity and graduation sessions can take place outdoors or at a suitable location, while events and weddings can be photographed at your venue. Let us know your preferred location when booking so we can confirm the arrangements.
